On your way from Upington on the N14 towards Springbok you will pass a small tar road that turns towards Augrabies Waterfalls…. that is Route 359. This route will take you on a road where you will be greeted by the warmth of the people that travel this route on a daily basis, and when your journey ends you will be at one of the greatest spectaculars in Southern Africa…the Augrabies Waterfalls.
Along this route you will drive past large grape farms where the people along this route make their living. From wine grapes to raisons that this area is so famous for to the export grapes that goes to only the finest stores over seas.
Find a sense of tranquility on this route, stop at the little shops for some dry fruit or a bottle locally made jam. Or stop for rest at one of the guesthouses that are on this route to rest before you continue on your journey. You will find beautifull accommodation in Augrabies and Marchand.
